Tape in Hair Extensions

Tape-in extensions are 1 to 1-1/2 inch sections of hair that are pre-taped with medical-grade glue and applied to your hair. The extensions must be professionally installed by a licensed cosmetologist. Tape-ins, unlike clip-in extensions, unlike clip-ins, can not be self-applied. With proper application and maintenance, tape-in hair extensions can last, on average, six weeks.

Keratin Tip Hair Extensions

Keratin-bond individual hair extensions are small strands of unprocessed (virgin) human hair. Instead of being fastened with tape or glue, keratin extensions have tiny beads of keratin adhesive at the tip of every strand. The individual extensions are strategically placed in rows so that they will always remain covered by your natural hair.

Bonded Hair Extensions

Bonded hair extensions, often referred to as fusion hair extensions, keratin bonds, or pre-bonded hair extensions, are one of the most sophisticated techniques for hair extensions. I-tips, U-tips, flat-tip, and keratin fusion extensions are names you may hear for this type of extensions. Bonded hair extensions differ from traditional hair extensions in that they come in individual strands rather than in wefts. As a result, you must attach each strand of the extension separately to completely cover the head.

Cold Fusion Hair Extensions

Cold fusion hair extensions are also known as micro-link or i-tip extensions. When applied, cold fusion hair extensions are applied strand-by-strand, but they aren’t applied using heat. Instead, the cold fusion extensions are applied by weaving small sections of your natural hair into a small, micro-link bead.
